Hotel Lydia

Hotel Lydia, the 4-star superior hotel that combines the atmosphere of the Old Town with modern architecture, is located on the slope of Toomemägi, behind Tartu Town Hall Square. 

The hotel has a spa-lounge, which offers a variety of saunas and other relaxation options,
a fitness-club, restaurant Hõlm, a lounge for meetings and an event centre equipped with
state-of-the-art audio, light and video solutions.

The historical location of the 4-star superior hotel and the personal service it offers make it an excellent place for business, conference, and holiday trips.

The hotel has 70 rooms:

50 Classic rooms in the new wing of the hotel, with views over Toomemägi Hill or the hotel’s courtyard

11 Superior rooms in the new wing of the hotel, with views over Town Hall Square, Toomemägi Hill or Pirogov Park 

5 Executive rooms in the historical wing of the hotel, which feature suitably historical touches to their design and which have views over Ülikooli Street or the hotel’s courtyard

4 Suites, of which three (Rector, Mayor and President) are in the new wing of the hotel and one (the Lydia apartment) is over three floors in the historical wing of the hotel

The price includes an extensive buffet breakfast in the Hõlm restaurant on the 2nd floor and unlimited use of the spa lounge and fitness club.

The hotel does not check in

People whose behaviour may disturb other guests;
minors without accompanying adults.

Paying

Upon arrival, guests must pay the fee for accommodation according to the issued invoice. The hotel services used during the stay must be paid for at check-out, at the latest. Our hotel accepts all standard international credit and debit cards.

Smoking at the hotel

Lydia hotel follows the principles of a smoke-free hotel. Smoking is permitted only in the designated areas. Guests shall be fined for smoking in a non-designated area. The fine for smoking is 300 euros.

Maintaining of public order

All requirements for maintaining public order, peace and the avoidance of contamination are valid at the hotel. The hotel will inform either its security workers or the police of all breaches of public order. The hotel staff may ask any hotel guest(s) causing a disturbance leave the hotel and its premises. Upon leaving, the guest must pay for the booked accommodation and additional services.Please be advised that breaking or damaging hotels inventory will result in a fine according to fixed prices available at the reception.
The hotel reserves the right to enter the room if there is a suspicion of a violation of the hotel rules.

Guest’s responsibility upon causing damage

As a guest, you are responsible and obligated to follow the established rules. You are responsible for the damages you or your guest may have caused either intentionally or unintentionally in the hotel room or in the public areas of the hotel. The hotel has a right to require that the guest pay for the material damages caused. The basis for the extent of the compensation is the direct damage caused, which shall be added to other expenses related to the rectifying of the damage.
